Kraken Black Spiced Rum 1 L

The Kraken is one of the first black rums from the Caribbean blended with spices, including cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla & orange peel. Caramel is added for colour but also to add those burnt sugar notes, something that would have been present in the earliest rums. Named for a sea beast of myth and legend, The Kraken is aged for around 2 years in ex American whiskey barrels, making a strong, rich, black and smooth liquid. While the smooth taste of the Kraken lends itself to be enjoyed as sipping rum, it can also be enjoyed as a key ingredient in traditional cocktails like the kraken & cola, or create a perfect storm by adding ginger beer and lime.
