Aberfeldy 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70 cl

16 Year old single malt from the fantastic Aberfeldy distillery, unveiled in the latter half of 2015 as part of the Last Great Malts series. This expression is finished in Oloroso Sherry casks, imparting juicy sweetness to the whisky.I has aroma of sherry and spice with cloves and fruit cake. Taste of citrus fruit with the sweetness of honey and some dark chocolate. Sustained and complete finish. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. Lovely balance between sweetness and spiciness.
